Why the exact model matters
A Kindle 11 screen is 1072 x 1448 pixels while a Paperwhite 5 is 1236 x 1648. An EPUB built for the wrong resolution gets rescaled on the device, which softens lineart and shrinks lettering. Building for the exact screen keeps every pixel useful.

Frequently asked questions
Why does my Kindle not show the CBZ I copied over?
Kindle firmware has no CBZ reader, so the file is silently ignored rather than shown with an error. Converting to a Kindle-profile EPUB is the only way to get those pages into the library.
Should I convert to EPUB or MOBI for my Kindle?
EPUB is the safe default: Send to Kindle dropped MOBI back in 2022, and EPUB works across current models. MOBI remains available as an output for older Kindles you load over USB.
USB or Send to Kindle: which transfer is better?
Send to Kindle is convenient but rejects files over roughly 50MB, which converted comic volumes can exceed. USB has no size limit, so use it for thick omnibus files.
What happens to my files after converting?
Converted outputs auto-delete after 24 hours. The service is free, and the engine is open source: you can even self-host it as kcc-cloud on GitHub.
