Convert a whole series in one job

A finished manga run is dozens of volumes, and converting them one file at a time is the single most tedious way to fill an e-reader. The planned series batch treats the run as one job: drop everything, keep one shared device profile and settings, get back a consistently named set, and eventually push the whole shelf to the device in one motion. We are being straight with you: the series-level job is not live yet, so this page does not offer it.

What IS live gets you most of the way: the converter queues up to 20 files at once, each up to 1GB, all sharing your chosen device profile. A long series takes a couple of queue rounds today instead of one, which is inconvenient rather than impossible.

What series batch will do

  1. Drop the whole run

    Every volume of a series in one drop, with no per-round cap to plan around. The job is the series, not the file.

  2. One profile, consistent settings

    Device profile, manga mode and processing options set once and applied to every volume, so volume 3 never comes out subtly different from volume 4.

  3. A consistently named set

    Outputs named as a series with volume numbers, so the files sort and shelve correctly the moment they land on the device.

  4. Until then: the 20-file queue is live

    Queue up to 20 volumes right now with shared settings. A 60-volume series is three queue rounds today, and each converted file is exactly what the batch version will produce.

Honesty first

The line matters: 20-at-a-time queueing is live and you can use it this minute; the series-as-one-job layer is planned. We will not blur the two to make the page sound bigger.

The live queue is real batch work

Twenty volumes with one profile and live preview per file is already a serious batch session. Most single-series conversions fit in one or two rounds today.

Frequently asked questions

Can I convert many files at once right now?

Yes, up to 20 per queue round, sharing one device profile, and that is live today. What is planned is the series-level layer above it: unlimited runs, series naming, and one-shot delivery of the whole set.

Do all the volumes get the same settings?

In the live queue, yes: the profile and options you set apply to the files you queue. The batch feature keeps that guarantee and adds series-aware naming on top.

Will it send the finished series to my device?

That is the plan, and it depends on the send features, which are themselves planned rather than live. Until both ship, you download the finished files and transfer them as usual.

Will you announce when it is ready?

Yes. When series batch ships it goes live on this page and the tools hub links to it. You can vote for it on the roadmap in the meantime.

MangaConverter runs on Kindle Comic Converter (KCC), the open-source engine, for every conversion in the live queue today. Series batch is a planned orchestration layer over that same pipeline, and this page will host it honestly once it works.
