Reorder pages, drop the blanks and ads
Scanned volumes carry baggage: credit pages in the wrong place, duplicated covers, blank filler, scanlator ads between chapters. The planned page tool puts a thumbnail grid in front of conversion, where you drag pages into order and delete the ones that do not belong, so the file that reaches your e-reader contains the story and nothing else. We are being straight with you: it is not live yet, so this page does not offer it.
Today the converter takes pages in the order the archive provides them, which for a well-made CBZ is the right order already. The live preview at least shows you every page before you commit, so a broken archive never surprises you on the device.
The page reorder tool is coming soon
This tool is planned, not live yet. Convert with the live preview in the meantime.

See every page as a grid
Thumbnails of the whole volume at a glance, in current order, so a misplaced credits page or duplicated cover is visible immediately.
Drag into order
Reordering would be a drag, literally: pick up the stray page and drop it where it belongs. Natural sort quirks stop mattering.
Delete the filler
Blanks, ads and duplicate scans get removed before conversion, so they never cost screen turns on the device.
Until then: preview catches surprises
The live preview already renders every page before you convert, so at minimum you know exactly what the archive contains before it ships.
Honesty first
A reorder tool that silently re-sorts on export would corrupt reading order, the worst possible bug for manga. It arrives here when the order you set is verifiably the order that ships.
The live tools help now
Conversion, spread handling, margin cropping and the page-by-page preview are live today, so most volumes reach your reader clean even without hand-editing.
Frequently asked questions
Can I reorder or delete pages here right now?
Not yet, and we will not pretend otherwise. The page grid is planned. Today the converter respects the archive order, and the preview shows every page so nothing lands on your reader unseen.
My pages come out in the wrong order. Why?
Almost always filename sorting: page 10 sorting before page 2 because the numbers are not zero-padded. Renaming with padded numbers (001, 002, ...) before zipping fixes the order at the source today.
Will it handle removing pages from a huge volume?
That is the plan: the grid is built for whole volumes, so clearing twenty ad pages from a 400-page omnibus is a minute of clicking, not an evening in an archive tool.
Will you announce when it is ready?
Yes. When the page tool ships it goes live on this page and the tools hub links to it. You can vote for it on the roadmap in the meantime.
MangaConverter runs on Kindle Comic Converter (KCC), the open-source engine, for the conversions that are live today. The page reorder tool is a planned step in front of that pipeline, and this page will host it honestly once it works.
