Name a series once and deliver the whole run together
Converting a whole run already works: drop every volume in, set the device once, press Convert all. What is still missing is the series layer on top. Each volume comes out named after its upload, so the reader sorts twenty files by whatever the scan group called them, and each one has to be fetched on its own. The planned series job takes a series name and a starting number, writes series and volume metadata into every file in order, and delivers the finished set to your reader in one go. We are being straight with you: it is not live yet, so this page does not offer it.
What works today: the batch page converts up to 20 files with shared settings, the Metadata tab sets title, series and volume number per file, and every finished file lands on the Reader Shelf by itself. The planned feature does the naming once for the run and the pickup once for the set.
The series job is coming soon
This feature is planned, not live yet. Convert the run on the batch page in the meantime.

Name the series once
A series title and the first volume number, entered once for the queue. Each file gets its volume number in queue order, which the natural sort of the filenames decides.
Series metadata in every file
Title, series and volume number go into every EPUB, KEPUB and CBZ, so a Kindle or Kobo groups the run under one series entry and lists it in order.
One delivery for the set
When the last volume finishes, the whole set goes to your reader together: one shelf entry per series, or one email per batch once email delivery ships.
Until then: batch plus the Metadata tab
Convert the run on the batch page, set series and volume on each file in the Metadata tab, and pick the files up from the Reader Shelf one by one.
Honesty first
A series job that numbered the volumes in the wrong order would be worse than none. It ships when the ordering is visible and correctable before anything is written.
The live converter helps now
The batch page, shared settings, Convert all and per-file metadata are all live, and every finished volume is on your Reader Shelf the moment it lands.
Frequently asked questions
Can I convert a whole series right now?
Yes, that part is live on the batch page. What is not live is naming the run as a series in one step and delivering the finished set together, which is what this page describes.
How will it know which file is volume 1?
From the queue order, which follows a natural sort of the filenames, so vol 2 sorts before vol 10. You can reorder the queue before naming if the files are named oddly.
Will the Kindle show the run as one series?
Kindle and Kobo both group books by series metadata when it is present in the file. That is exactly what the series job writes into every volume.
Will you announce when it is ready?
Yes. When the series job ships it appears on the batch page and this page hosts it. You can vote for it on the roadmap in the meantime.
MangaConverter runs on Kindle Comic Converter (KCC), the open-source engine, for the conversions that are live today. The series layer is a planned addition around that engine, and this page will host it once it works.
