Convert and send to your e-reader in one step

Today a conversion ends with a finished file, and getting it onto the reader is a second job: download, then cable, email or the wireless shelf. The planned Convert and send control folds the two into one. You pick the device, press once, and the converted volume travels to that reader by itself, with no file on your computer in between. We are being straight with you: it is not live yet, so this page does not offer it.

What works today is close and needs one more tap: every finished file lands on your account Reader Shelf automatically, and the shelf opens in the e-reader browser with a 6 digit code. The conversion is the same; the planned control removes the trip through the shelf.

Convert and send is coming soon

This control is planned, not live yet. Convert, then pick the file up on your Reader Shelf in the meantime.

What Convert and send will do

  1. Pick the destination with the device

The device profile already knows whether you own a Kindle, a Kobo or a PocketBook. The planned control reads a delivery route from the same choice, so there is no second form.

  2. One press, two jobs

Convert and send runs the conversion and hands the result straight to the delivery route: the Reader Shelf for every device, email delivery for Kindle and PocketBook once that ships.

  3. A clear status on the queue row

The row shows converting, then sending, then delivered, with the error named if a route fails, so you never wonder whether the file left.

  4. Until then: the Reader Shelf

Convert as usual, then open mangaconverter.com/shelf in your e-reader browser, type your 6 digit code and tap Download. No cable, no email address.

Honesty first

The old Convert and send button was removed when it could not deliver what it promised. It comes back when a press actually ends with the file on the reader, and not before.

The live converter helps now

Every conversion already lands on your Reader Shelf with no send button to press. The shelf keeps your last 50 files for 24 hours and opens in any e-reader browser.

Frequently asked questions

Can I convert and send in one step right now?

Not yet, and we will not pretend otherwise. The conversion is one step and the pickup from the Reader Shelf is a second one; both are live today.

Which readers will it deliver to?

Any reader with a browser through the shelf, which already covers Kindle, Kobo, PocketBook, reMarkable and most Android readers. Kindle and PocketBook email delivery is a separate roadmap row and would plug in here once it ships.

Does it need an account?

Yes. The delivery route is tied to your account, the same way the 6 digit shelf code is, so a file goes only to a reader you have paired.

Will you announce when it is ready?

Yes. When the control ships it appears on the queue row and this page hosts it. You can vote for it on the roadmap in the meantime.

MangaConverter runs on Kindle Comic Converter (KCC), the open-source engine, for the conversions that are live today. Convert and send is a planned delivery step after that engine finishes, and this page will host it once it works.
