Send converted manga to your Kobo, no cable

Kobo has no equivalent of Amazon’s Send to Kindle email address, so getting a converted volume onto the device usually means a USB cable. The planned send feature closes that gap with a pairing handoff: a short code on the device’s browser would link it to your conversion, and the finished KEPUB would arrive over Wi-Fi. We are being straight with you: it is not live yet, so this page does not offer it.

What works today: convert your CBZ, CBR or PDF to KEPUB here with your exact Kobo profile, download it, and copy it over USB into the Kobo’s storage. It appears in your library with Kobo’s native reader features intact. Less elegant than wireless, completely dependable.

What wireless send will do

  1. Pair the device once

    Open a short link on the Kobo or Boox browser, type a pairing code, and the device is linked to your account. No email address required, which is the point: Kobo does not have one.

  2. Convert as usual

    Same pipeline, same profiles: KEPUB built for your exact Kobo model, with the live preview before you commit.

  3. The file arrives over Wi-Fi

    A send button next to the finished conversion would deliver it to the paired device, so the cable stays in the drawer.

  4. Until then: USB transfer works today

    Connect the Kobo over USB and drop the downloaded KEPUB into its storage. Thirty seconds, and the reading stats and fast page turns all work.

Honesty first

We describe the pairing handoff in the future tense because that is where it lives. The button appears here when a file truly reaches a paired Kobo, and not before.

KEPUB is the right target either way

However the file travels, KEPUB is what makes it feel native on a Kobo: the comic viewer, fast page turns and reading stats. The converter outputs it today.

Frequently asked questions

Can this site send files to my Kobo right now?

Not yet, and we will not pretend otherwise. Wireless send is planned. Today you convert here and copy the KEPUB over USB, which every Kobo supports out of the box.

Why not just email it like a Kindle?

Because Kobo has no receiving email service. That is exactly why the planned handoff uses a pairing code through the device browser instead of an address.

Will it work for Boox and other Android readers?

That is the plan. A pairing handoff through the browser works on anything with one, which covers Boox and most Android e-ink devices where email delivery does not exist either.

Will you announce when it is ready?

Yes. When wireless send ships it goes live on this page and in the studio next to every finished conversion. You can vote for it on the roadmap in the meantime.

MangaConverter runs on Kindle Comic Converter (KCC), the open-source engine, for the conversions that are live today. Wireless send to Kobo is a planned delivery step after that pipeline, and this page will host it honestly once it works.
