Email a converted volume to your Kindle

Amazon gives every Kindle an email address, and PocketBook does the same with Send to PocketBook. A file mailed there appears on the device over Wi-Fi with nothing plugged in. The planned Email to Kindle feature puts that address in your account once, and after a conversion the finished EPUB is mailed to it from here, so the file never has to pass through your own mailbox. We are being straight with you: it is not live yet, so this page does not offer it.

What works today: convert here, download the EPUB, and send it through Amazon Send to Kindle yourself by email or the web uploader, or skip email entirely and pick the file up from the Reader Shelf in the Kindle browser. A volume converted for your Kindle model is usually well under the 50 MB email cap.

Email to Kindle is coming soon

This feature is planned, not live yet. Send the converted EPUB through Amazon Send to Kindle yourself in the meantime.

What Email to Kindle will do

  1. Save the address once

Your Kindle or PocketBook address goes into your account settings, and you add the sending address here to your Amazon approved list one time.

  2. Send from the queue row

After a conversion the row offers Send by email next to Download. The converted EPUB goes as the attachment, named after the volume.

  3. Stay inside the caps

The sender checks the file against the 50 MB email limit before sending, and points you to the Reader Shelf or the size cap splitter when a volume is too big to mail.

  4. Until then: Send to Kindle yourself

Download the converted EPUB and mail it to your Kindle address, or drop it on the Send to Kindle web page. The file converted here is already in a format Amazon accepts.

Honesty first

An email card used to sit in the download dialog before the sender existed. It was removed, and it returns only when a message actually leaves and arrives.

The live converter helps now

A volume converted for your Kindle is a standard EPUB that Amazon accepts, and the Reader Shelf delivers the same file without any email at all.

Frequently asked questions

Can the app email my Kindle right now?

Not yet, and we will not pretend otherwise. Convert, download the EPUB and send it through Amazon Send to Kindle yourself, or open the Reader Shelf in the Kindle browser and skip email entirely.

Why not just send the CBZ?

Amazon refuses CBZ and CBR outright. The planned sender mails the converted EPUB, which is on the accepted list and already sized for your Kindle model.

Will it work with PocketBook too?

That is the plan. Send to PocketBook works the same way, an address per device and an approved sender, so the same feature covers both.

Will you announce when it is ready?

Yes. When the sender ships it appears on the queue row and this page hosts it. You can vote for it on the roadmap in the meantime.

MangaConverter runs on Kindle Comic Converter (KCC), the open-source engine, for the conversions that are live today. Email delivery is a planned step after that engine finishes, and this page will host it once it works.
