Grayscale is a feature, not a loss
Manga is drawn for black-and-white print, so e-ink suits it well when the conversion applies proper gamma correction for screentones. On a Colorsoft, color covers stay in color while the interior pages keep their tuned grayscale.

Double-page spreads can be split into two pages or rotated to use the full screen sideways. Long vertical webtoon strips have their own mode that cuts them into readable screen-height pages.
Frequently asked questions
Which format does a Kindle want for manga?
EPUB. Amazon dropped MOBI from Send to Kindle in 2022, so EPUB is the format that works everywhere: USB transfer, Send to Kindle, old and new models alike. The converter outputs it by default when you pick a Kindle profile.
Does it keep right-to-left reading?
Yes. Manga mode preserves the original right-to-left page order and panel flow, so the Kindle page-turn direction matches how the manga was drawn. The preview shows the order before you convert.
Why not just copy the CBZ onto the Kindle?
Kindles do not open CBZ or CBR archives at all. Even converted files built for the wrong resolution look soft or shrunken, which is why the converter asks for your exact model and rebuilds every page for that screen.
